Last April the Myth Busters took on sexual assault and the many misconceptions that surround it. This time around, the Myth Busters are tackling domestic violence, also called interpersonal or dating violence, with the hopes that you will leave empowered by information they’ll present. But who are the Myth Busters? The Myth Busters are a crack team of police officers, counselors, advocates, and medical professionals who all work in different ways to end the cycle of domestic violence that exists in our community. If you’ve ever wondered why some people stay in abusive relationships or what you could do to help a friend you think might be in a bad relationship, then come and meet the Myth Busters.
This event is free and open to anyone. Sponsored by The S.A.G.E. Center.
