The Music Theatre Company is presenting a program of opera scenes, including a major portion of Dido & Aeneas (Purcell), and shorter scenes from Louise (Charpentier), The Marriage of Figaro (Mozart), The Taming of the Shrew (Giannini), and Carmen (Bizet). All of the performers are music or music theatre majors and all scenes will be performed in English. Directors are Dr. Kathleen Arecchi and Mr. Charles Stanton. Ticket proceeds will go into the scholarship fund of the Department of Music, Theatre, and Dance.
