Dr. Timothy Patrick McCarthy, Harvard scholar, will be presenting a lecture, “Unearthing the Underground Railroad,” at Smith Recital Hall, Silver Center for the Arts, as part of the University’s observation of Black History Month and its celebration of the life of Nathaniel P. Rogers, a Plymouth abolitionist whose home once stood on the site of the Silver Center.   Admission is free, but capacity is limited.  Call 535-ARTS to reserve a seat.
