PSU’s Center for the Environment and the Squam Lakes Natural Science Center present a screening with award-winning documentary filmmaker George Butler. Butler’s latest film, The Lord God Bird, tells the story of the ivory-billed woodpecker, which was believed extinct until its re-discovery in the swamps of Arkansas in 2005. Some of Butler’s other film credits include Pumping Iron, Roving Mars, and Going Upriver: The Long War of John Kerry.
