Each home game starts with a two hour alumni reception and concludes with great seats (Rightfield Box or Infield Grandstand) to a Red Sox game. PSU’s Center for the Environment and the Squam Lakes Natural Science Center present a screening with award-winning documentary filmmaker George Butler. Butler’s latest film, The Lord God Bird, tells the story of the ivory-billed woodpecker, which was believed extinct until its re-discovery in the swamps of Arkansas in 2005. Some of Butler’s other film credits include Pumping Iron, Roving Mars, and Going Upriver: The Long War of John Kerry.

Mindflight is a residential program for middle school students which offers enriching, interdisciplinary experiences taught by teams of university faculty, classroom teachers and artists.   The program is open to high achieving, motivated students currently completing grades 6, 7 or 8.  Students have opportunities to participate in Ecological Expeditions, Multimedia Madness, Mythical Masks of Creative Expression, Sights & Sounds of Space, and Video Ventures.

Lego® camps make their debut this summer with a working partnership between the Frost School Community Education Program and the College of Graduate Studies. The camp will focus on Lego® vehicles, robotics and FUN. College of Graduate Studies students, chosen for their expertise and experience in specific areas will teach the camp classes.
