Main level, Lamson Library and Learning Commons

The Lamson Library and Learning Commons is pleased to welcome the exhibition Explore Other Lands: A Journey into the Arab World by Najwa O’Hara.

The exhibition features a selection of 20 items including spices, copper and silver work, and beautiful tea and coffee accessories.

Ms. O’Hara was born in Mosul, a small city in northern Iraq. She is currently an MBA student and member of the Fellowship Program at PSU.

Lamson Library Print Series

Opening Event: Wednesday, September 17, 4-6 p.m. Printmakers from New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont present works in collaboration with the Art of Democracy, which is a national coalition of political art exhibitions all taking place in the Fall of 2008 on the State of the American Political Scene. Donald HallJoin us to honor the man to whom the Eagle Pond Series is dedicated as we celebrate his eightieth birthday and the publication of Unpacking the Boxes, a memoir. Hall will read from the book that chronicles his life from his childhood through Harvard and Oxford, to his youth with contemporaries Adrienne Rich, Robert Bly, Frank O’Hara, John Ashbery and much more of his rich, rewarding and productive life through today.
