Opening Event: Wednesday, September 17, 4-6 p.m. Printmakers from New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont present works in collaboration with the Art of Democracy, which is a national coalition of political art exhibitions all taking place in the Fall of 2008 on the State of the American Political Scene. National exhibits and images may be viewed at: www.artofdemocracy.org and selected works from this exhibit are presented at: on the Lamson Library Web site.

Rumney Rocks, New Hampshire

Venture Center Fall 2008 SOAR Trip Programs
This is a 3 night/4day trip to the beautiful unseen northern backcountry of Maine. This trip is targeted for experienced hikers only who wish to seek a unique and historical prospective of northern Maine. We will be climbing Mt. Katahdin, which is well known throughout the country as the end of the Application Trail and has a reputation to be challenging. This is open to all students who have hiking experience. Personal camping/hiking equipment will be needed. Mandatory pre-trip meeting: Wednesday; October 8th, 2008 @ 6pm in the HUB’s Tower Room.
