Room 001, Boyd Science Center
Over the past four years, PSU’s Judd Gregg Meteorology Institute and the National Weather Service’s Gray, Maine Forecast Office have worked together to develop quantitative forecasting methods for strong northeasterly winds that occur along the Gulf of Maine coastline. Join Dr. Samuel Miller, Assistant Professor of Meteorology as he discusses the methods developed and the process used to develop them with students, PSU faculty, and the Gray Office Science Officer.
The Environmental Science Colloquium Lecture Series is a weekly opportunity for faculty, staff, students, and the general public to come together as a community to discuss issues of significance to science and society. For more information, contact The Center for the Environment (535-3179)
