Karl Drerup Art Gallery, 4-6 p.m.
Silver Center for the Arts, 5-7 p.m.

Before they cap their paint pots and tubes of ink, slabs of clay and other materials, and before they shut down their computers for good, PSU seniors graduating in the select Bachelor of Fine Arts program must present a capstone project to their teachers, peers, and the public. Those collected works, and artist statements by the participants, complete the 2009 Senior BFA Thesis Exhibition.

Boyd Hall – Room 144

The third in the Environmental Film series celbrating “Earth Month 2009″, this film is about how America finally “gets” the global warming message despite the misinformation campaign of industry-funded critics.

Featured, among other people, are Bill McKibben (Middlebury College and key national global warming activist), Ross Gelbspan (Pulitzer Prize winning writer), and Dr. Heidi Cullen (meteorologist from The Weather Channel).
