Plymouth Congregational Church

WHO? Plymouth State University’s Jennifer Fijal and Daniel Brevik will present a recital of classical and popular songs. They are raising money to attend the summer Opera program in Salzburg, Austria during the internationally renowned Salzburg Festival.

WHAT? The program will include operatic arias from Le nozze di Figaro,The Tempest and Vanessa, as well as English and German art songs, and Broadway favorites from Carousel and South Pacific.

WHY? Jen and Danny have been accepted into the University of Miami, Frost School of Music’s opera program in Salzburg, Austria, birthplace of Mozart.  This is an intensive five-week program in which students are immersed in vocal technique, coaching of repertoire, and the German language.  Since total costs are estimated to be about $8,000, both vocalists are in need of monetary assistance.

WHERE? The benefit is on May 13, from 6:30-7:30 PM at Plymouth Congregational Church (next to the post office).  Any donation is welcome and greatly appreciated. All seats are unreserved.  Handicapped accessible.

Celebrating Academic Excellence at PSU

Frost House

Bill Kolaski will present his Senior Humanities project “Through This Window” which is the culmination of his academic experiences here at PSU.

After viewing his screenplay, Bill will discuss the process of bringing his film to life utilizing his arts and education experience gained at Plymouth State.
