PSU Athletics partners with NH Electric Co-op for the 2nd Annual Food Drive for NH Food Banks.
Come down to the PE Center on the campus of Plymouth State University for a great afternoon of Panther Pride, athletic excellence and support the New Hampshire Food Bank as the Panthers battle in their conference & help us battle hunger in our community.
1:00 PM Football vs. Endicott College
3:00 PM Field Hockey vs. Westfield State
4:30 PM Men’s Soccer vs. Rhode Island College
Through the day the PSU SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Council) will be working with the New Hampshire Electric Co-op Foundation to raise money for the NH Food Bank. Every donation collected on this day will be matched dollar-for-dollar up by the New Hampshire Electric Co-op Foundation, a non-profit, charitable organization founded by NH Electric Co-op.
Last year PSU Athletics and the NH Electric Coop teamed to raise over $1350. Let’s surpass last years mark in this one day campaign. All of the money raised on this day will purchase food to be distributed to pantries and facilities within Co-op service territory.
The PSU SAAC organization is asking everyone to help out if they can and give to those in need. Donations will be taken through the day at the P.E. Center. It only takes only a minimal amount to bring food for the many families in our state who need it.
Remember, every $1 donation equals four meals.
