Common Ground is PSU's environmental and social justice group who sponsors events like Earth Jam, water week, trail clean-ups and so much more. Come on down to join the fun!

Welcome back to campus! The Office of Environmental Sustainability is excited to invite your department and/or office to participate in our ongoing Green Offices Program. The PSU Green Office Program is designed to encourage sustainable practices in offices and departments across campus to reduce our University’s environmental impacts. The program is essentially a voluntary review of department or office practices that are administered, facilitated, and evaluated by OES staff to produce recommendations that the department or office may act upon at their discretion. Please contact us at bweisenhauer@plymouth.edu to sign up to participate in the Green Offices Program.

Contoocook print collector and curator Parker Potter has invited 26 New Hampshire-based printmakers to present a revisiting of an earlier work to reimage a theme that has held for the artist to this day. The new work may be one that engages that theme while rethinking size, color, a new composition or process, or some other variable.

Reception Friday, October 18, 4-6 p.m.

The Educational Theatre Collaborative (ETC), a 2013 Moss Hart Award winner for excellence in community and children’s theater, announces auditions for its 20th anniversary production of Oliver!

Performances will be held January 22-26, 2014.

Auditions for this popular musical, directed by Trish Lindberg, artistic director and co-founder of ETC, will be held as follows: [Those pre-cast at last year’s auditions should audition again to ensure current information and interest. ]

Sunday, November 10

12:30 –2 p.m.: children grades 3 and 4

2:30–4 p.m.: children grades 5 and 6

4:30–6 p.m.: grades 7 and 8

6:30–9:30 p.m.: high school students, university students, faculty, staff and community members**

Monday, November 11

3:30–5 p.m.: children grades 3 through 5

5:30–6:30 p.m.: grades 6 through 8

7–9:30 p.m.: high school students, university students, faculty, staff and community members**

3:30–5 p.m.: Grades 3 through 8

Wednesday, November 13

6–9 p.m. Call backs as needed.

**High school students, university students, faculty, staff and community members must come prepared with a song and schedule an audition time by calling Brenda Gleich at (603) 535-2803 or bgleich@plymouth.edu.

All auditions take place at Plymouth State University’s Silver Center for the Arts on Main Street in Plymouth.

ETC welcomes people of all ages, both experienced and non-experienced, to audition for this community-wide theatre project.

Registration begins at 8:45 a.m.in Silver Center for the Arts Lobby on the day of Open House.
