Oedipus the King by Sophocles is the story of a man who rose to the greatest of heights, only to see a mistake result in his downfall. Oedipus, the ultimate politician, problem-solver, and hero, falls from grace when his tragic error is revealed in what is still, after 2,500 years, a stunning piece of theatre. PSU’s Oedipus the King is part of the Greek Project, produced in conjunction with UNH and Keene State. Keene will perform Antigone at PSU on 3/8 and UNH will perform Oedipus at Colonus at PSU on 3/9.
